HOW TO JOIN THE HWHEARTS LADDER

 

To Join the Hardwood Hearts Ladder, please follow the instructions below using the Hardwood software to automatically create your account.



 

Step 1

Check your account on Hardwood

Make sure the email address stored with your nic is correct.

Unless you are creating a new Hardwood account you'll need to check this under the account tab of your online profile.
 

You are automatically sent an email with your ladder password in it so if the email address on your account is similar to asdsffds@dffssddf as I've seen on many occasions, it most likely won't arrive.

Step 2

Find the Case's Ladder Room

you may need to scroll down the list, then click on the Case's Ladder room


Step 3

Click Signup

This box should pop up, if it doesn't you've already got an account and may only need your password.

Well Done!

 These words should appear in the lobby.

Step 4

Check your email

It's a lottery whether your Ladder Password will arrive or not, it's about 50-50.
Sometimes they go into your Spam folder, sometimes, as in the case of this test account I just created, it doesn't arrive at all!
If it has arrived, Welcome to the Hardwood Hearts Ladder!
Please make a note of your password as you CANNOT change it, remember? the software needs to know it. So you're stuck with d85mvh4 or such like.

Note: The automatic email does not seem to be working right now so please continue below.

Step 6

Retrieve your password

If it didn't arrive, go get it, follow this link and find the LOST PASSWORD link on the left http://www.igl.net/hwhearts/

 

Step 7

Request your password

Enter your Ladder Name (Hardwood Nic) and click the E-Mail my password button.

Step 8

Check your email again

If it still hasn't arrived in 10 minutes, check your Spam folder again and have a look down the back of the sofa, it's surprising what gets stuck down there!
It also contains a small fib as it says you can change your password, but as we've already established you can't.

If it still doesn't show up, please don't give up, use the SUPPORT link on the left of the ladder page http://www.igl.net/hwhearts/
